All the above since I was a child. 1980 I went with a pixie hair cut. 1985 I finally decided to learn how to properly care for my curly hair and grow my hair out & finding out guys liked girls with long hair. 😂😅❤🎉🎉🎉 My favorite now is the trim & Bob haircut is my fun haircut & attracted my future husband in 1990. ❤

My mom had curls but it was looser. Took her a while to realize she can’t do the same thing to mines that she does to hers. So from grade 3k - 5th- I was brushed out then from 6th- to now I’m if it rains in ruined

Personally, I think crunchy curly hair has always been a cute look!

Literally all my life until TikTok I thought my hair was supposed to be fluffy and hard to manage bc it was thick. Turns out I have 2b curly hair and have been caring for it semi properly since. I gave up messing with it in seventh grade and wore buns/ponytails before realizing it was bad for your hair and putting it in a claw clip and dual braids. Anyways I was the “unbothered it’s hair” until my split ends had babies and it was horrid looking

I brushed mine once (i have looser curls but all the frizz) and when i got to school my bf at the time said "you should have brushed your hair" i wanted to die

I didn't grow up with curly hair but hormones have made it curlier and curlier since I started my twenties. I never cared for my hair except when I had a pixie and then a pseudo Mohawk, bc of the pandemic, I let it grow to my shoulders and I just don't know what to do with it anymore💀💀 it's just hair atp

Finally someone with natural curly wavy who doesn’t scrunch and say it’s curly. I have natural wavy/curly hair and all I do is brush out my hair when it’s wet and it’s already wavy and curly. I’m not a hater I’m just a bit mad at ppl who scrunch their hair with gel AKA (the stuff that keeps your hair in shape). Then have the audacity to say it’s NATURAL CURLY WAVY HAIR.
